The correct ROM should have the SHA1 checksum f3ae088181bf583e55daf962a92bb46f4f1d07b7 if you want to check that. After patching your ROM (either by creating a new file or in-emulator), the randomizer will just work. In the pokeemerald project the function thats modified is SetUpBattleVarsAndBirchZigzagoon in battlecontrollers.c. All it does is call my custon function rndParty if the check for being the first battle fails. Note that all the code is marked as static methods -- this is on purpose to make compilation easier by avoiding introducing another file to link, since the setup can be a little precarious. Renaming folders wont do any good because I made a mistake when I made the zip packages and put the wrong folder in it instead of a004black2. I have tried to improve the randomization modes a bit and reuploaded my new zip packages. Also you can now use the randomization modes hue, saturation, brightness, hue, slight variation on whole evolution families instead of only an individual pokemon. Pokemon Rom Randomizer Manual Check ThroughIf im just missing it thats fine but I did a search as well as a manual check through and I couldnt find it. I extract the unpacked a002 into a folder with Tinke, and when I look at the files, everythings like it should be. But when I run the palette randomizer, it says it cant find 20.bin and asks if I want it to ignore the problem or stop. Whether I say yes or no, when I re-open the folder after running your palette utility, most of the files are renamed to different things. For instance, 20.bin has become 20.0020.bin, which is likely why the program cant find it.
